Keith Urban needs no introduction here. He's known far and wide as one of the most popular, most exciting entertainers in the world. On top of that, he's respected as a great guitar player. What everyone might not be aware of is that (unlike a lot of country artists) he also writes almost all of his own material. His publishing compay, Universal Music Publishing Group, decided to create a special, limited edition, promotional only 2-disc CD to celebrate and bring new attention to the wide variety of songs Urban has penned over the years.
Users can play both the CDs and listen to the songs as they would any other CD in any CD player (car, home, computer, etc.). If they place the second CD in their computer they have access to the "enhancement." This enhancement (like most of the ones we create) was built in Flash. It's totally self-contained so the end user doesn't need to have any special software on their computer. It plays exactly the same on a Mac as it does on a PC (except the PC has an "autostart" feature).
The enhancement itself is very basic and direct. It exists soley to give users access to a special video about Urban and his music. An introductory "splash" screen has some simple directions and then a second screen features the video.
