Born smack-dab in the heart of America, singer/songwriter Dan Colehour grew up on the very same pastoral, Eastern Iowa turf that inspired and harbored iconic Americana painter Grant Wood. Steeped in the tried-and-true populist rock of Springsteen and Mellencamp with long, strong threads of Jackson Browne and the Eagles snaking through, Colehour has arrived at a slightly more rural-oriented, western approach to an amalgam of the signature styles of all the aforementioned, informed - of course - by personal experience.
Like many musical artists, Colehour came to us shortly before he was due to release a new album (Straight To The Highway). In this case, a very important album, his first for the highly respected independent Nashville label Carnival Recording Co. which is distributed through Universal. He needed to revamp his website before the new CD came out and we were more than happy to help.
While Colehour's site contains many of the typical elements that a musical website contains (News, Tour Dates, Photos, etc., we designed and built his site to reflect his extraordinary (and very distinctive) music. In addition to a Mailing List that is powered via ReverbNation, an easily updatable Photo Gallery and a Press Kit for media and venues, his site features Tour Date and News Pages that are updatable via a custom Admin section and a Store that connects with CCNow for processing.
