More then thirty-five years have passed since the release of Elliott Murphy's ground-breaking first album Aquashow in 1973 (recently declared an Album Classic by the UK's prestigious UNCUT magazine) and since that time Elliott Murphy, singer-songwriter, rock troubadour, indefatigable road warrior (over 100 shows a year!) and prolific author of fiction has proven over and over again his dedication to his music and his commitment to his growing legion of fans. His latest release, Notes From the Underground features eleven new Elliott Murphy songs (five of which are co-written with long-time guitarist Olivier Durand). The album is already being hailed as his best in a decade (All Music Guide).
Murphy is now based in Paris, France, but the Long Island born musician has fans all over the world. His website attracts visitors from the United States, Europe, Japan, Australia and almost every point inbetween. He keeps it constantly updated with "Featured" news items and a regular "Message From Elliott" that keeps his fans apprised of everything new and important about their favorite artist.
Murphy's website contains a wealth of information. Along with the normal news, tour dates and bio information, the site features essays and articles written by Murphy, photos and videos and a comprehensive discography (he's released over 30 albums!). He also regularly posted downloable MP3 files that keep visitors returning on a regular basis.
