A multi-instrumentalist as well as a poetic and passionate songwriter, Jenny Kerr is known for foot-stomping live shows and powerful, authentic voice. Her self-produced debut release, Itch drew critical acclaim as well as comparisons to Delbert McClinton and Janis Joplin. The album sold out during her first year of touring. Kerr is a skilled player of fingerstyle guitar, clawhammer banjo, harmonica, piano, and dobro who has toured Europe seven times and has become a regular favorite on the country/blues/roots circuit. She's headlined festivals all over the world including Germany, France, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria and Mexico—most recently at the Zihuatanejo International Guitar Festival.
Jenny came to us, like many of our clients do, because her website was in need of an update. While her old website had served her well for many years it was very outdated and she was ready for a complete overhaul. We used photos from a wide selection she was able to provide, as well as custom icons designed for her by Fabrice Trovato, to design and build a website that reflected her music and personality.
Kerr's site features a Home Page that displays the most current tour dates and news. Her tour dates are displayed in small pop-up windows which contain a wealth of information about each show. Visitors can listen to song samples from each of her albums and view several videos. She collects information for her Mailing List via ReverbNation. An online Press Kit provides media and venues with many downloadable images, documents and songs. Her store carries a wide range of CDs and merchandise that connects to PayPal for processing.
