Face To Face is the first solo album by singer, songwriter and pianist Professor RJ Ross, but a lifetime of music went into its production. Ross has been playing piano, singing, writing and arranging since he was an eleven year-old prodigy in Detroit. He was a founding member of the legendary Detroit funk band Brainstorm and played on their award-winning album, Stormin'. To this day, "This Must Be Heaven," a Ross original by Brainstorm, continues to get airplay around the world. As midi expert and in-house keyboard player at the world-famous Fantasy Studios, he worked with Jeffrey Osborne, Eddie Money, MC Hammer, Tupac Shakur and many others.
This website for Professor RJ Ross was built in conjunction with Mark Abramson. Mark did all of the great design and we built, coded and authored the site. Ross' site uses a lot of Flash. All of the menus and headers on each page are done in Flash to provide the movement and dynamics. There are Tour, Photo and News sections which Ross can easily update himself via the custom Admin section we built. He also provides his visitors with music and lyrics from his two albums via two sophisticated, custom Flash jukebox players we built just for him. We also set up a feature for Ross so that when new visitors sign up for his email list they receive a link to download one or two exclusive free songs.
