The Sweethearts Of The Rodeo first established themselves as country stars back in the late 1980s when they ran up a string of Top 10 hits. Since then they've made fine album after another. Several of their songs were featured in the 1987 Kim Basinger movie Nadine. And the sisters were naturals for movie cameras themselves, starring in a series of music videos showcasing their stunning looks and eye-catching fashions that they designed and sewed themselves. They've been on an extended hiatus but they are finally back with what may be their finest album ever, Restless. The new collection recaptures the feisty spirit of classic Sweethearts hits such as "Midnight Girl / Sunset Town," "Satisfy You" and "Blue to the Bone." But there are new textures as well. And both sisters are singing more powerfully and creatively than ever before.
The Sweethearts had never really had a proper website before but they knew exactly what they wanted. Something that would give their fans and visitors the true "Sweethearts" experience: videos, photos, music, tour dates and lots of information. Their site offers plenty of news, mini-blog postings they call "Notes From The Sweethearts," videos taken from a recent showcase concert and lots of incredible photos. Additionally, there are music players for each of their seven albums where visitors can listen to the music. Restless is remarkable "comeback" and fans, both old and new, are certain to be delighted to have the Sweethearts back.
